Summer Poe

Sonnet 18 (Shall I Compare Thee to a Summers Day)by William Shakespeare

(includes a craft and/or coloring suggestion to go with each poem)

I love traditional poets like Emily Dickinson and Robert Frost, but have included poems from various eras — some easier, some harder. Barefoot Days by Rachel Field, In July Evaleen Stein and Summer Evening by Walter de la Mare were favorites with my girls. And, of course, Five Busy Honey Bees was always fun when they were young!
